Great Travel Moment We were in Bandhavgarh National Park in India on a safari. It was over 110° by 9 am daily and we set out seeking tigers each morning at dawn. This was right before monsoon season and no one had spotted a tiger for weeks, although it had been rumored there were two cubs and a mother out in the bush. The tigers are perfectly camouflaged with their stripes in the grass and we scanned the distant grasses hoping to see one. We were fortunate enough to spot this young tiger peering at us, watching us the entire time and then he vanished. We will never forget the thrill of seeing our first tiger. |
