Great Travel Moment

I've always been attracted to water and to things in threes. Our arrival in Varanasi was a nightmare of chaos and activity. Finding our hotel on our particular Ghat was no easy feat. We went to sleep surrounded by an even more chaotic dream of original noises. Waking was an opposite experience. Peering from our window high above the River Ganges, I was greeted by this beautiful and symmetrical visage of color and order. It was a new and welcome beginning to what would become a truly mystical experience.
