Great Travel Moment

I was ecstatic to finally travel to Dominican Republic with my roommate who happens to have grown up there. I felt as though I had my own personal tour guide. He tells me the long history and significance of this monument. Here I was able to capture the infamous city monument that translates to "barefoot children." It is sad yet inspiring to see that even a third world country, people still find it in their hearts to help those in need. The act of generosity truly made a lasting impression on me.
