Great Travel Moment On an excursion in Alaska, I was standing beside my wife looking at the sea. I was hearing some whales singing when suddenly the sound stopped. Some birds were flying in circles and some bubbles began to rise. In just a blink, between 8 to 14 whales came up to the surface, with their mouths open, catching lots of fishes. The whales were hunting in a coordinated and marvelous way. Our skin was sensible and that moment. Definitely a direct touch with nature. I could capture it because I was looking thru my camera zoom lens. It was, and still is one of the most existing moments of my life. I still remember the light, the sound, the smell, the peaceful moment that was kind of unexpected, quick and profound. |
