Great Travel Moment

This is a picture of my husband in our infinity edge pool on the cliffs of Imerovigli in Santorini, Greece. Our hotel room had a private deck and pool that overlooked the 900 foot drop into the crystal blue waters of the Caldera. The view literally took our breath away and we were awe-inspired by the grandness and peacefulness of the setting. The history of the ancient volcano exploding and then imploding to create this tranquil landscape gives you a sense of the power of nature but also of the self sustaining cyclicality that just happens by grand design. It makes you realize you are a part of life that is naturally effortless. As in the picture, my husband looks seamlessly integrated into the life of nature. It was such a calming and comforting thought to be a part of this grand landscape, and it really calmed the soul.
