Great Travel Moment

Arriving in Srinagar Kashmire, I was completely overwhelmed by the vast novelty of what surrounded me. I did not yet grasp the culture or the landscape and the world was zooming by. From Dehli to Srinagar, vibrant colors, animals in unique settings, and smells of spicy tea, were pulling me in every direction and begging for my half-focused attention. When I arrived at the Dal Lake in the Kashmire Valley, I stopped. This breathtaking view and glimpse into a life on the floating house boats allowed me to take a much needed pause. This is my first memory of India at complete ease with a restful mind and complete appreciation for the people that I was visiting.
