Great Travel Moment

Kauai's Nepali coast is a veritable wilderness of carved valleys, streams, and ocean vistas. I have hiked the trail at different times of the year and seen the coast's changing moods. Here a Hala tree frames the distant valleys overlapping on a stormy, blue day. This image represents freedom of wilderness and the possibility for anything to unfold. A small portion of the middle valley is illuminated reminding me that there is light everywhere if you open your eyes to it.
