Great Travel Moment After a stressful day topped off by seven hours of delays in Berlin's airport, my friend and I were not in good spirits. Our plane arrived in Paris at midnight, and we felt drastically lost and out of place, having no idea how to reach our hotel on the opposite side of the city. Luckily, we met a nice Parisian lady who lead us to the right bus route. We stepped off the bus at our stop and the Arc de Triomphe was right in front of us, with the Eiffel Tower lit up in the background. It was so cold outside but it felt so good. We stood there for about fifteen minutes and just stared as the cars went in circles around it. It was one of those moments when you say to yourself, "Okay, I guess it was all worth it." |
