Great Travel Moment

Our nephew graduated from San Diego State. Family and friends gathered to celebrate. It is sad that families, in this day and age, just don't seem to get together as often as they should. We are all caught up in our own silly lives that we feel we can't find the time. Family and friends are precious. We tend to take them for granted. Before heading home we stopped by the Maritime Museum, home of the USS Midway. While the ship is impressive, the site I found most impressive was a group of statues. The artist captured a celebration of music and happy times for these Soldiers. I thought about the military families who are missing their loved ones and especially the lost lives. It made me realize that I take these men and women for granted as well. This picture is a reminder of just how precious family is.
