Great Travel Moment

This was one of those perfect San Francisco days, we had gone to the Arboretum in Golden Gate park with a friend of ours. At this point in our lives, we aren't able to afford the elaborate vacations we dream of, however, we are so lucky to live in San Francisco. To get to enjoy all of this gorgeous scenery, and be able to enjoy it without any travel or expenses (unless you count bus fare!). Despite not always having the best weather, there are still so many great outdoor adventures to take advantage of. Some days we will spend hours combing the beach for sea glass or lounging under a tree in the Presidio. I love this picture because of how well it captures exactly how George and I love to spend our weekends... exploring this amazing place we live and remembering not to take for granted a single minute of it. And it's wonderul, when looking at this picture, imagining and anticipating all of the adventures we have in store for us.
