Great Travel Moment

This picture was taken in Bald Head Island, a small island off of North Carolina. I was vacationing with my family and we had prepared for a week of sun and relaxation. Unfortunately it rained the whole week! I took this picture after a huge storm had passed. I remember standing on the beach, watching the sun peek through the clouds, and feeling totally at peace with nature. It was as if, for a minute, everything aligned and made sense. I felt complete inner peace and harmony with my surroundings, my life, and myself. I will always hold onto this feeling, as I believe it is not one everyone can experience. The wind blew through my hair, and the smell of rain lingered in the air. I stood looking out over the ocean and breathed in the essence of the beach. This was a moment of complete stillness and peace.
