Great Travel Moment When my daughter turned sixteen, she and I traveled to Australia for a three week trip to see the wonders of down under. We were going to visit for a week in Perth with cousins, but the part of the trip I was really looking forward to was snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef. My daughter had never snorkeled before and I was excited to be sharing this experience with her. The previous day we visited the health clinic in Port Douglas where my daughter received Penicillin for Tonsillitis. After the bit of a rough boat ride out to the reef caused her to get seasick we were finally there. The salt water was harsh on her throat, but she didn't want to miss this experience so she endured. We were not disappointed. The water was calm and clear, and the marine life was a sight to behold. |
