Great Travel Moment

We perched in a cafe above this central Marrakech square at 3:45 and watched to our amazement as this massive outdoor market materialized before our eyes. I took this photo three hours later with my decrepit, old camera and managed to capture the sunset, the glimmer of light on the snails, and the sagacity in the chef's face. I still savor the flavor of the snails (gritty, salty and phenomenal), the howl of the market in full force, and the smell of orange zest that still permeates the air from the daytime juice salesmen.
