The Logia of the Villa San Michele as it appears now in Anacapri.Italy. It was the beloved home and retreat of the noted Swedish Physician Doctor Axel Munthe. Spending decades on the island and laboring untiredly as a physician, architect and lover of antiquities, he devoted his life to the betterment of mankind and his love of nature. The logia is a treasure trove of archeological antiquities, many of which were unearthed from Roman and Greek ruins on the island.
