Great Travel Moment

It is my experience that a person can impart their life story with one look. They can transfer their pain, their struggles, their loves and losses, to the one they share the moment with, when eyes are locked, unsuspectedly; I took this picture when I was walking through a market in Bangalore, India early one evening. I came around the corner and there she was, this woman, so raw and beautiful in her own way. What makes this picture so special is its simplicity. There are no grand landscapes or elaborate actions, nothing but emotion and expression. It showed me that one look can stir the soul. Even months later when I gaze at it, long after the trip had ended, the feelings well up again because her stare timeless.
