Great Travel Moment While cruising the St. Lawrence River, one not so well-known port is Corner Brook, Newfoundland. From there, our shore excursion took us to the intimate, quiet areas surrounding the Bay of Islands. The scenery across Bottle Cove where massive cliffs line the coastline and the town of Little Port sits peacefully along the banks in Newfoundland, Canada. Suddenly, we were transported into another time and another place--a live Canadien commercial fishing town at the base of an ice age rock formation. |
