Great Travel Moment

The night before my best friend had agreed to accompany me on the journey of our lifetime. The evening had been quenched with tears and champagne and when we awoke from our slumber we carefully climbed out of our haze and into our car for a day trip through the Smokies of North Carolina. As we traveled the Blue Ridge Parkway it became clear that the path we had chosen was to be filled with surprising color and endless horizons. We do not yet know what it is that's around the bend up yonder but when she lifts the veil in September I will think back on this stop we made and I will kiss her for as long as she kissed me under this tree on the happiest day of my life.
