Great Travel Moment

Last October my fiancee and I took a trip to NYC to attend my cousin's wedding. We started the weekend at the Glen Cove Mansion which was just a wonderful place with lots of charm. It was a fall weekend and the trees were turning and there was just enough nip in the air to have an excuse to snuggle. The wedding reception was at the Swann Club, and was just breathtaking. It also happened to be the place where I'd attended my H.S. prom (years ago) so I got to re-live an old memory with the most important person in my life. After 2.5 days on Long Island, we spent the remaining 2.5 days in Manhattan, where I got to play tour guide for Shaun. It was a fantastic trip with some country, some city, some romance, and some excitement all bundled into one (far too short) long weekend!
