Great Travel Moment I had been teaching English in a tiny town in Brittany, France and my parents came for a visit. We rented a car and I was finally able to leave my town and experience the beauty of Western France. I love this picture because it reveals the incredible height and beauty of the church of course but also because its image is reflected on the entire side of the car and windows. I also love that I was able to capture a man and woman in foreground, who resemble my parents, and also a woman in front of them, which reminds me of myself. The bright sky on this day is also a rarity, as Brittany is always overcast and rainy. To me, this photograph will always recall the beauty of Mont. St. Michel as well as my generous parents who enabled me to see the rest of the region. |
