Great Travel Moment I found these boys in a desert village in Northwest India. Their eyes are clearly two different shades, and I was curious about their ancestors. Beyond the cosmetics, I wonder what they are thinking or if one is praying, or if the one on the right peering into the camera is happy, sad, or curious. What do they want out of life, or plan to do later today, long after I've left? What will they do when I go back to my comfortable bed and air conditioned room while they stay in their village? Do they have enough food, do they go to school, what games will they play in the scrub and dirt, what toys do they have? In all my travels throughout India, I found something special in every face, every interaction with the children. I'd give anything to meet these boys again. |
