Great Travel Moment After leaving my job at an investment bank in New York last September, I was wound-up, to say the least. Money, power, and greed had surrounded me every waking hour since I graduated from college. The picture above represents the antithesis of investment banking, and that is why I love it. The silhouettes are those of local Peruvians, the sun set to the sound of calmly crashing waves, and I enjoyed this February evening barefoot in shorts and a t-shirt. Life goes on around the world amidst recession, war, and famine - and this picture of a typically calm and peaceful evening on the Northern coast of Peru is evidence of that fact. |
