Great Travel Moment While in Southeast Alaska I was given the opportunity to fly with a friend to Glacier Bay. I love to fly and became even more excited when I was told his plane has skis and we would be able to land anywhere there was snow or ice. I asked him to choose a glacier he had never landed on before, loving the thought that we may be the only people to have ever set foot there. He chose a beautiful setting and set us down for a smooth landing. As we exited the plane we took a long moment to soak in the clean air and amazing views. I had him snap this shot of me as I walked out on the Glacier, still to this day I love to think that we still may be the only people to have ever walked upon the glacier he named Raymie. |
