Great Travel Moment

A few years ago, my husband and I decided to take a trip to Oregon. I wrote out an itinerary for two weeks, hoping that we would have enough places to go, things to see. Now I wish we had taken a three week vacation to this wonderful state. Our experience touring Oregon left us in awe! We flew into Portland, rented a car, and were on our way. Actually, our first overnight stop was NOT in Oregon, rather in Stevenson, Washington. Our lodging was right on the Columbia River Gorge, and our view was of the river with the mountains of Oregon in the background. (The following day we headed into Oregon for the rest of the fabulous vacation.) A number of windsurfers stayed at our lodge and we were able to learn firsthand, all about the sport of windsurfing.
