Great Travel Moment

Some things are just universal! While visiting Osaka Castle in Japan, I noticed lots of school children, all in uniform and all behaving quite nicely. As we were leaving the castle, I looked for an opportunity to take a casual picture of a school group. These school girls were apparently having fun on a field trip, and I caught this one girl giving me a message! I took the photo and then we both laughed as I gave her the peace sign right back! It amazed me that this hand gesture, although made popular in the U.S. during the days of the hippies, is still used today to make a connection.
