Great Travel Moment

Waking up at 3am, driving 3 ½ hours to get to the top of the volcano, and being freezing cold in Hawaii, on the 2nd day of our honeymoon wasn?t exactly what I had in mind. We made the trek up the mountain which seemed to wind forever, but the view from the top was so spectacular, it made it all worth it. It was not just a highlight of the trip, but one of the highlights of my life. Marriage is all about experiencing new things with your best friend. And ours was just that. We got to see things together that we had never seen before, and our experience on Haleakala was so worth the sacrifice of sleep and the drive, and cold. Make sure you bring a jacket on your trip to Maui! Sounds crazy I know, but trust me.
