Great Travel Moment My husband and I were so awed and amazed by the beauty of Olympic National Park. It wasn't the cliche'd or stereotyped beauty of palm trees and white beaches, or even the stunning rock formations of the Southwest. The bleak beaches with miles of driftwood, hidden waterfalls, and grey clouds were a kind of secret, surprising kind of lovely we weren't expecting. We came around a corner and were just floored by this desolate, mysterious, unbelievable stretch of road. |
