Great Travel Moment

This is a picture of the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris. After seeing so many various pictures of it, and hearing so much about it, it was absolutely surreal to see it in "real life" with my very own eyes. The whole place was like something out of a fairy tale, and the Gargoyles were my favorite. I must have taken 100 shots just trying to get one good picture of the Gargoyles and the cathedral. Finally, just as we were leaving, I took one last random shot...my favorite. I love this shot because it reminds me of the fairy tale feeling I got from Notre Dame. It looks like, at any moment, the two Gargoyles are going to leap off the cathedral and take flight with the moon as their backdrop.
