Great Travel Moment

I spent a few months backpacking the Pacific Coast of Mexico a few years back with a friend. We spent the majority of out trip pitching the tent on the beach and spending our evenings walking the long shores. It became a goal for us to find the least populated beaches along our adventure and I think we did quite well. This photo was taken on such an evening, on an empty beach with a most amazing sunset. Of all my photos on this trip this is my favorite and brings me back to the solitude and peacefulness of the coast. This photo calms me and allows me to take a mini mental vacation whenever I look at it. I could easily spend my life hiking the mountains of the coast by day and walking the beaches by night.
