Great Travel Moment After the 20-hour flight to Sydney, I was feeling a bit, ahem, ripe from my journey. I decided to take a walk and get lost in the city before retiring for the night (camera in tow, of course.) As I walked through the park mirroring Sydney Harbor, the Sydney Opera House caught my eye like so many in the past. As luck may have it, I stumbled upon the Opera House at sunset. Alone, I found myself surrounded with tourists, lovers, families, and joggers all completely mesmerized by the sun setting on the Harbor. Desperate for someone to share this with, I reached for my international phone, but realized the dramatic time difference between myself and the states, I took in the moment I had fantasized about since I was a little girl alone. Finally, I was in Sydney! |
