Great Travel Moment

The curvature of the roofline of the plaza of a former private palace and residence where my wife and I enjoyed a private party in Athens, Greece captured my attention immediately. We arrived right at sunset, and with the lighting and the natural colors of the sky and plaster dancing with the twilight, I took many shots. This angle was the best. The serenity of the photograph was the antithesis of the chaotic activity happening at ground level as people were scrambling to their assigned dinner theater seats, all the while as ushers barked politely in broken English. Luckily, I got this shot before a gentle tug pulled my camera away from my eyesocket.
