Great Travel Moment

Catalina Island, off the coast of Los Angeles, California, is for us a poor man's paradise. The boat over is inexpensive and takes a little more than an hour. There are many quaint or luxurious places to stay. We usually rent a small house for a week and invite friends over to stay a night. Lover's Cove is protected, and the fish have no fear of people. Feed them some frozen peas and you've made 100 BFFs.
