Great Travel Moment

I traveled to Peru to celebrate my 40th birthday. I wanted to be there on the exact day of my birthday and found a tour with people from around the world. It was physically active and an excellent motivation for me to stay strong and healthy as I enter this new decade of my life. Machu Pichu was a dream come true and I loved being there. We lucked out and had a sunny day with no other tourists - just the 15 of us. Our guide was shocked! The airport in Cuzco had closed, so no one else was able to get there. It was also the rainy season, but we had sun. Amazing! Definitely a fantastic birthday memory.
