Great Travel Moment

We got the opportunity to tour a shanty town outside Cape Town, South Africa. During the tour, our friend asked of if we wanted to see a Philani Mothers Nutrition & Development Project. Upon arrival, a couple of kids greeted us and encouraged to play with them. We agreed and played with them for a short time and then went inside to see about the health & nutrition services provided to young children were all about. It is an amazing program. As we left, the kids asked us to take their picture. They posed for us many times. This was the last of several pictures I clicked off. The smiles on the kids and the beautiful colors of the building seemed to reflect the incredible hope this center was providing the neighborhood children.
