Great Travel Moment

One of the ports on our Mediterrenean Cruise was Rhodes, Greece. We visited the ancient city of Lindos and climbed the steps to the Acropolis for breathtaking views like this one. Locals from the upper part of Lindos frequent this beach of sand and tiny pebbles. There are rocks from which to dive into the crystal clear sapphire blue water. Nearby is Laki, where scenes from the famous movie, "The Guns of Navarone" were filmed. This beautiful small cove is only short distance from the Acropolis of Lindos. When viewing it from the Acropolis, I longed to be on its shores, basking in the sun and dreaming the day away!
