Great Travel Moment

I've ended up in Rome three times in my life. Each time I seemed to be at an important time in my life. I don't know what it is about Rome but whether I plan on it or not, I always end up being there during significant times in my life. My first time traveling outside the US, the first time I ever traveled independently and my honeymoon all ended up in Rome. I never planned on going there... I just got there whether by chance, a friend's last-minute change in plans or as a gift. Rome just seems to pull me there and by not planning on going there, it makes each time unique and I always discover something new or unexpected. Now that I'm older and have a family I'd like to pass that on to my sons.
