Great Travel Moment

Iceland by and large was a peaceful and beautiful place. However, every now and again you run across aspects of the real world. Iceland, like every other place is a place where people live everyday lives. They struggle and deal with real life issues. There was a lot politcally going on when I was there. I had an interesting conversation with someone who was campaigning for one of the candidates for Parliament. Opinions are strong. I just listened I did know enough to speak about the politics. But I learned a lot about what the average Icelander expects from their local officials. It's what we all want. Stability and safety.
