Great Travel Moment During a trip to Chicago, my wife and I began our love of river cruises. Initially, we wanted to hear the guided architectural tour, but we were amazed at the new perspective of the city that we were given by travelling down the Chicago River. Both my wife and I had visited the city before, but we had never seen it from the vantage point of a boat on a river. As we toured the city by boat, we snapped off dozens of photos the concrete, steel, and glass buildings for which Chicago is known, and, without that cruise, I would have never taken this picture of what I will always call the Sears Tower. So, from that day on, whenever possible, my wife and I take a river cruise of each new city that we get to visit, and each time we are delighted by the new perspective. |
