Great Travel Moment

This photo is of a shop window in Milano. One of my favorite things to do when I travel is to take self-portraits in shop windows, as I am passionate about the art of creating a great window display. I really like this shop window, with its interesting textures, its groovy 1970s inspired light fixture, the retro alarm clock on its way to noon (or midnight) and the reclining disco diva Rapunzel, all wigged out on her Madame Recamier. All calm on the inside whilst outside Vespas whiz by. I like the fantasy aspect of it all, that you can just stop for a moment and be transported to a fun fashion idea! The clouds bouncing off the reflections of buildings and cars are a neat juxtaposition of speed and calm.
