Great Travel Moment Bridal Veil Falls sits atop 14,000 foot mountains that encircle the tiny town of Telluride, Colorado. The waterfall gushes down, roaring loudly as it makes it's way to the bottom, while it luminously resembles the veil of a bride. If you hike in to get closer, it sprays you with magical droplets of cool water, making even the most reserved delirious with enchantment. I could not help but to think, I want to live there, in that house on top of the mountains! Then someone told me that house was a water treatment plant, which took some of the romance out of it. Regardless, whoever lives there is a very lucky soul. |
