Great Travel Moment My fiancee and I were staying in Dingri, a tiny town in Tibet on the way to Mt. Everest. The main street--which was in fact one of only two streets--was used mainly by horse-drawn carts, with tinkling bells, and five dogs, who barked all night. Dingri is the last "major" town on the way to Everest from the Tibetan side. This woman was spinning her prayer wheel across from our hotel. |
