Great Travel Moment In England St.Ives Cornwall, almost at the very south of the lands end, with a remarkable tide shift that strands the boats and ships. I remember waking up at the B & B, and after a very large breakfast of bangers and mash a stroll was in due order to get back in shape. I noticed the tide went out, but the boats stayed, and we decided to walk out to them, and it was a little surreal, almost as if one could walk on water or they had just been dropped from the sky. The seagulls laughed and swung around us, laughed some more and went away. It was a sunny day, and truly a day to remember at the beach, literally miles of beach, and though one could smell the ocean it was not there, for awhile, but in the afternoon the sea came back, and restored senses and life to the town that lives where the tides rules. |
