Great Travel Moment After a rickshaw ride from the hotel we boarded a colorful boat and two dark skinned Indian boys rowed past the many temples on the Ganges in Varanasi. The glow of the early morning sun bathed the temple towers in orange and the worshipers, including women in their flowing saris, took their morning bath in the murky waters. Tiny baskets of flowers drifting past to honor Mother Ganges. Boys in colorful boats loaded with trinkets drifted by. I turned as the sun came from behind the trees on the distant shore silhouetting three boats loaded with trinkets and their youthful sellers -- another Kodak moment in India to treasure forever. |
