Great Travel Moment Umbrella Lane This picture was taken in 2006 in Rimini, Italy when I was vacationing at a beach on the Adriatic Sea. There was a stretch of beach that was no less than 20km long, completely filled up with different coloured umbrellas! I had seen umbrellas before but nothing compared to this. I knew this would be a good shot as the colours were amazing. I had sat for a long time while the chairs were occupied with people. I knew that once all the beach goers had left I had to take the picture quickly before someone else sat down again! It was a good thing that I realized I had to orchestrate this shot quickly because within five minutes another family had decided to sit down right where I had taken this picture! |
