Great Travel Moment

This is a photo of my brother Gary, when he took me fishing in the Chesapeake Bay. Since he lives in Maryland and I live in Indiana, we don't get to see each other often. He is 12 years my senior and I truly look up to him. On this day, we kayaked out into the bay where the water was so peaceful and still. The light pinks and blues of the sky surrounded us and the tranquility poured over us like a soft rain. While the air was silent and the fish were sleeping, we truly had a great, bonding moment on those waters. My brother has taught me a lot over the years and this photograph reminds me of what a blessing he is in my life. While life can be crazy sometimes, it is times like these that we must embrace, and know that there is a calm after a storm.
