Great Travel Moment

After 19 years at my job, I was part of a mass lay off due to company merger. I was not sad or worried. It was time to go. It was time to fulfill my dream to live in Paris. I immediately booked a flight and rented an apartment online. The plan fell together without a hitch. I arrived in mid-February to some light snow. After ten straight days of light snow, I took a side trip to Nice for some warmth and sunshine. It rained and hailed every day I was there. After three weeks, the sky cleared and the air warmed. As I crossed one of the many beautiful bridges of the Seine, I saw people taking time to feel the sun on their faces. This is the reason I chose Paris for my mini retirement. I came here to learn how to enjoy every day.
