Great Travel Moment

We took our two boys, aged 11 and 14, on a 3-week trip West in 2004, and put 4700 miles on a rental car. This picture of Mason was the highlight of the trip - Yosemite. We've just hiked to Vernal Falls and all of us relaxed by the stream, taking in the marvelous view, and savoring all we had seen so far, from the Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce, to Mount St. Helens, Mt. Rainier, Seattle, Portland, SF, and Vegas. Of all the places we saw, Yosemite had the ideal mix of water, trees, and ancient stone. Mason's smile says it all: Isn't life wonderful, especially when you get a chance to see new things?
