Great Travel Moment

Brooks River in Katmai National Park in Alaska was our most memorable vacation. Seeing Grizzly Bears fishing for Salmon was amazing. These Bears are up close and personal. We had a Mother sow and her two spring cubs on the porch of our very tiny wooden cabin one morning. It was an adventure that we will never , ever forget. I bring these memories to me often and think how priveledged we were to see these special animals. I sat under a tree on a large platform one early morning as a Mother let her cubs nurse. The cubs purr like kittens, but loud like a little motorboat. Sweet memories.
