Great Travel Moment

Burgos is one of Spain?s most historical cities. After a full day of sight-seeing, shopping, eating tapas, drinking regional wine, and strolling the streets of Burgos, I had a wonderful night?s sleep in a gorgeous hotel in Burgos. The hotel is on the waterfront, in a converted palace, complete with cloisters! From my bed I could see the gorgeous spires of the Burgos Cathedral (one of the most important Gothic cathedrals in the world). This photo was taken first thing in the morning from the window seat in my bedroom. From this view, I could see blossoming tress along the waterfront, residential homes along the river, and the Burgos Cathedral across the river. Waking up to this amazing view is one of the nicest ways to start a beautiful sunny day in Europe.
