Great Travel Moment

I was flown out by NATO for an interview. It was such an honor to be amongst the hundreds of applicants to be selected for an interview, let alone be flown out to Brussels. I had just arrived in the morning and decided to explore the sights. It was quite an adventure. I didn't really have a plan -- had a guide book, but because it was such a whirlwind trip, I had not had time to figure out which sights to see, so I just walked around and stumbled upon the Grand Place. This was the first picture I took because the architecture took my breath away. It just looked so lovely against the beautiful blue sky and peaking through the buildings that surrounded me. I was surprised and overwhelmed by it. And I was overwhelmed by the reason that I was in that place at that time. It was just a great and lovely experience.
