Great Travel Moment

I had never traveled so far from my home in Walla Walla before. Last year in June I traveled to a remote fishing village called Ekuk in Alaska to see the sights and work as a salmon fisherman. I remember being nervous and excited all in one. I had never flown except as an infant, so this was huge for me. To see the moutains and ice flows that no one has set foot on, the fishing villages, endless beaches, bear tracks and countless eagle all reminders I'm a long way from home, or was I.
